Artify Artists in the NTGA Spring Studio Tour

The North Toronto Group of Artists (NTGA) is holding its first studio tour Saturday and Sunday,May 2 and 3, 2009. It will highlight artists whose works encompass a wide range of styles- from realism to abstraction, in a variety of media. Visitors are welcomed into the homes of talented artists living in the North Toronto neighbourhood ( between Avenue Rd. and Yonge St., near Lawrence Ave. W.).

Presentation at AFAC Conference

Susan Brown gave a presentation, titled Artist-based Networking and Marketing Partnerships, at the Art For All Canada Artist Conference and Art Show at Metro Hall in Toronto, on March 14th. Susan’s presentation provided an introduction to a new venture in marketing Canadian artists’ work: Artify has been established to represent artists to a wide range of client groups through partnering with a consumer club. Attendees joined a discussion around marketing art in non-traditional settings. The Artist Conference and Art Show began with a day of seminars on Sunday March 14th (10am-4pm), alongside an art show that continued until Thursday March 19th.
